Standard rotors when you want the performance and
durability of a performance rotor - without the additional cost for
a plated rotor.
Standard rotors perform as well and last as
long as plated rotors.
However, because they are
cast iron, they will begin to rust more quickly - depending upon the
conditions and environment in which they are used. |
Choose SP Performance®
Nickel-Plated rotors when you want your rotors to be the
best-looking for the longest time possible.
Nickel plating
is a two-step plating process that is one of the most durable types
of plating available.
Useful for show-car
applications,
and for the most demanding consumer - where
style is a priority. Nickel plating is available for most rotors for a small
addtional cost per pair.
Nickel plating may
require an additional 30 days lead time prior to shipping.
Some hub-type rotors are
unavailable plated.
