We offer our thanks and gratitude to our clients and colleagues who have helped us to build our reputation, We will soon be celebrating our second anniversary and owe much of our success to our friends who have come to trust in our services and our integrity. Central New York is fortunate to have a wealth of services, programs and professionals - public and private - who work together for the good of the aging community. One of the great rewards is not only the satisfaction of our clients, but the satisfaction of how our "system" can choreograph itself beautifully when we all work together as a team to benefit each individual client. | CNY ELDERPLANNING Introduces New Geriatric Care Manager | |

We warmly welcome Cynthia Stevenson who will be providing care management services to CNY Elderplanning. Cynthia has extensive experience working in the aging community, with family caregivers in particular. From 1981 through 1990 she worked with a community task force to develop the Central New York chapter of the Alzheimer's Association and then became its Executive Director. During this time she was also the primary caregiver for her mother who had Alzheimer's Disease. Cynthia was a member of the Metropolitan Commission on Aging from 1991 through 1995 where she served as Vice-Chair of the Commission and Chair of the Issues/Advocacy Committee. Currently she is the Program Director for the Caregivers Resource Center at the Onondaga County Department of Aging and Youth. Her mission has been to provide information, training, direct services and support to clients and their family/professional caregivers. We are proud to have Cynthia as part of our elderplanning team! Our 1998 rates as of February 1st will be $80/hour. We will be charging time and 1/2 on weekends, holidays and after 9 PM. If applicable, transportation charges are billed at 1/2 the hourly rate.
